Establishing a consistent creative practice is about more than just making art; it is about finding a space for presence and freedom. On the surface, my work looks like art therapy because it involves painting and reflection. However, the foundation and intention behind this creative process are completely different.
I am not an art therapist. Furthermore, I do not provide art therapy.
This distinction is important because it protects the integrity of my work. Therefore, it ensures you know exactly what to expect. This clarity defines the creative freedom you will find in my sessions.
A Creative Practice Built on a Different Foundation
Art therapy is a clinical profession. Usually, a licensed therapist leads it within a healthcare framework. These professionals support psychological conditions like trauma or anxiety.
But that is not what I do.
I do not diagnose or treat psychological processes. In addition, I do not analyze your artwork. My work is an educational and experiential creative practice.
Why This Creative Practice Has No Problems to Solve
In my workshops, we do not focus on problems. Many people feel like a “project” that needs fixing, but we leave that mindset at the door. Instead, I create a very light atmosphere through a well-structured session. Because the framework is clear, you can finally relax.
This structure helps us enter a child-like state of joy and freedom.

Direct Experience Within the Creative Process
We focus on the direct experience of color and movement. Consequently, we do not assign external meanings to your work. This is the heart of a healthy creative practice.
- Intuitive Painting: We focus on the sensation of the paint. Specifically, we care about the movement rather than the final product.
- Reflective Writing: Our journaling is not analytical. For example, it does not ask you to explore your past. It simply supports your awareness of the present moment.
How a Creative Practice Differs from Therapy
Participants often describe the experience as “therapeutic.” This feeling happens naturally when you are fully present. Moreover, it occurs because you are working without judgment or pressure.
However, that effect is a byproduct. It is not the purpose of the session.
I maintain this boundary so you can be a creator rather than a patient. You aren’t here to be fixed. Rather, you are here to be expressed.
Reconnect with Your Creative Freedom
If you want a space without pressure, my creative practice offers a path back to yourself. In short, this is a journey of expression and awareness.
It is not therapy. Instead, it is a return to the simple joy of being alive.

I like this approach much more than any ‘disciplined’ therapy. This takes the pressure off me. I am all the time focused on performance, doing better, improve, reach targets.
With this approach I can just be myself. Sooo refreshing 🥰🥰🥰
I am so glad this resonated with you! We spend so much of our lives being measured by targets and ‘doing better,’ so creating a space where you can simply be is exactly what I aim for. It’s about letting that performance mindset take a back seat so your true self can come out to play. So happy you found it refreshing! 🥰
I need something like this in my life – time to reflect and downtime. Busy women need this!
You are so right! Busy women deserve a space where the ‘to-do’ list can’t follow them! 🕊️ It’s so important to have that downtime that isn’t about ‘getting better’ at something, but just enjoying the process. I’d love to have you join us and claim that time for yourself!
I’m really not an arty person but I’m excited to try this – I like the idea of drawing with no pressure, that you can enjoy the creative process without the expectation to produce a beautiful result 💕
Yay! No need to be artsy at all! This is your ‘permission slip’ to make a mess, try new things, and just enjoy the feel of the brush on the paper. There is so much freedom in a result-free zone. So glad to have you with us! 🎨💖
The world loves to convince women that we have lots of problems that need to be fixed, in fact what we usually need is a space to just be, enjoy, do things just because they feel good 🫶
Spot on! 🕊️ We are constantly being sold ‘fixes’ for things that aren’t even broken. That’s exactly why I’m so passionate about creating this space, it’s a sanctuary where the only goal is to enjoy the present moment. Thank you for sharing your perspective! 💖
